73rd Annual PA Municipal Authorities Association (PMAA)
Rudolph Clarke, LLC participated in the 73rd Annual PA Municipal Authorities Association (PMAA) conference which was held in Lancaster, PA from August 23-26. Partner, Mike Clarke joined Traffic Planning and Design, Inc., RBC Capital Markets, and Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel LLP in delivering an update to solicitors on Municipal Finance.
This update outlined the necessary steps and various options available to municipal authorities when they seek financing in today’s market. The full presentation can be found below.

Attorney Melissa Fiala moderated the professional luncheon, “Tell it to the Judge”, which created an interactive atmosphere allowing the audience to test their knowledge regarding facts and laws involving authority-related cases. A panel of attorneys argued these facts as the audience voted as to who they thought won the argument.
She also had the privilege of moderating “Regional Collaboration Among Three Municipal Authorities”. This was a three-part presentation focusing on the construction of 17 miles of water transmission pipeline for large volumes of water that was to be sold and transported from the Forest Park Water Treatment Plant, owned by North Wales Water Authority and North Penn Water Authority, to meet the needs of Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority.
