Valentina is a life long resident of Montgomery County.  She attended Ursinus College, where she realized her future as an advocate.  While at Ursinus she was active in the Pre-Legal Department, participating in oral arguments and assistant coaching the school’s Mock Trial Team.

She then went on to graduate from Temple University Beasley School of Law.  Valentina developed her interest in municipal law during her last year at Temple Law when she worked with Temple University’s Center for Public Health Law Research.  There she researched nuisance ordinances and their impact on public health, concluding that municipalities often use them to evict residents for calling local police, disproportionately affecting victims of domestic violence and those with disabilities.
