PSBA Publishes New School Law Handbook with Help from Rudolph Clarke
The Pennsylvania School Boards Association has just published the 11th edition of its Pennsylvania School Law Handbook, and Rudolph Clarke Partner Peter Amuso served as a contributing editor for the 2018 publication. An active member of the Pennsylvania School Board Solicitors Association, Peter wrote the chapter on Transportation, providing PSBA members with the latest guidance on their transportation obligations to district, charter, and nonpublic students alike. “Our Firm takes a special pride in our school law expertise,” said Managing Partner Michael P. Clarke, “and Peter’s contributions to the School Law Handbook demonstrate that expertise on a statewide level.” Peter represented the Norristown Area School District in front of the Secretary of Education in a case of first impression regarding the type of transportation school districts must provide charter school students.
In the past, Peter has developed training materials for, and presented at, PSBA Labor Negotiations Workshops, and has spoken at the annual School Solicitors’ Symposium. “I focus on providing our school district clients with timely advice that represents the very latest caselaw,” said Amuso. Besides representing school districts in Southeastern Pennsylvania, Peter previously served as a member of the school board of the School District of Springfield Township in Montgomery County.
Rudolph Clarke LLC serves as solicitors and special counsel for school districts in Bucks and Montgomery Counties.
