RUDOLPH CLARKE SUCCESSFULLY OBTAINED PENNDOT RIGHT-OF-WAY CLEARANCE FOR ABINGTON TOWNSHIP IN A $20 MILLION FEDERAL STATE AND TOWNSHIP FUNDED ROAD RECONSTRUCTION AND STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PROJECT INVOLVING OVER 200 PROPERTY OWNERS

Attorneys Michael P. Clarke and Georgeann R. Fusco and Paralegal Gina Ferrante, in coordination with Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (“PennDOT”) representatives, Township officials and staff, Project Engineers and Project Appraisers, successfully negotiated amicable settlements with the 209 property owners for the construction rights-of-way required for the Project. With all 209 property owners supporting the Project, the filing of Eminent Domain Proceedings that could delay the Project became unnecessary.   PennDOT representatives indicated that this Project is one of the largest in its history in terms of the number of property owners and that Rudolph Clarke, LLC obtained the majority of the rights-of-way from the property owners in record time.  PennDOT anticipates that it will advertise the construction contract for bid in August 2018 with the construction contract to be awarded in September 2018.  Project construction is anticipated to commence in November 2018.
