Rudolph Clarke Attorneys Assist the North Wales Water Authority Complete $17.381 million Purchase of the Warrington Township, Bucks County, Water System

Managing Partner Mike Clarke and Barbara Merlie recently assisted the North Wales Water Authority (NWWA) with the $17.381 million purchase of the Warrington Township Water System. In addition, Mike and Barbara represented NWWA in the purchase of the building that will serve as NWWA’s Bucks County Office. By purchasing the Warrington system, NWWA added 8400 customers to the nearly 30,000 customers it already serves in Montgomery and Bucks Counties. Barbara Merlie, who served as the lead attorney for the purchase of the water system and the building, earned high praise for her work from NWWA Executive Director Bob Bender when he told the NWWA Board:

“KUDOS and a very sincere THANK YOU to Barbara Merlie for responding quickly and professionally to my multiple and never-ending demands on her time and talents as she was helping us to move the legal process throughout the final transaction.”

See more information about the sale:

“Residents on the public water system should see rates drop by about 50% soon as North Wales Water Authority and township officials finalize the agreement.”
