Rudolph Clarke Exceeds Goal – Collected 571lbs of Food for “WMMR’s Preston and Steve Camp Out for Hunger”
Rudolph Clarke joined the “WMMR’s Preston and Steve’s Camp Out for Hunger” in collecting and donating food to Philabundance.
We are proud to announce that we exceeded our goal and collected 632 items (571lbs) of non-perishable items that were brought to Xfinity Live by organizer and paralegal Erin Barone on Wednesday November 30, 2016.
“WMMR’s Preston and Steve Camp Out for Hunger” was held November 28,2016 –December 2, 2016 and has been held every year since 1998. The Camp Out has become Philabundance’s largest food drive and this year Preston and Steve’s fans and partners donated 1,167,384 pounds of food!
Philabundance is the region’s largest hunger relief organization and serves more than 90,000 people each week. They cover 5 counties in Pennsylvania including Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia as well as 4 counties in New Jersey: Burlington, Camden, Gloucester and Salem.
Rudolph Clarke is ecstatic to have joined in this collection and wants to thank everyone who participated in helping us exceed our goal. We look forward to doing this every year and exceeding our previous goals.
